Mission Statement

The University Heights Art Association promotes and supports the artists and community of University Heights. A primary goal of the UHAA is to develop public awareness of the artistic community of University Heights

The UHAA was awarded a proclamation from Ron Roberts and the San Diego County Board of Supervisors on September 15, 2006 for "outstanding service, leadership and commitment to area residents"

 

September 16 and 17 2006 declared as "university heights Art association day"

**2011 Artist Prospectus** 2011 4 page event program

  The 6th annual University Heights Arts Open and the UHCDC's Taste of University Heights combine events again this year. Stroll through the quaint neighborhood sampling delicacies from 19 of University Heights diverse restaurants and then enjoy a free self guided tour of the arts.

The UH Arts Open (UHAO) showcases the works of over 100 new as well as celebrated artists, playwrights, performers and musicians from the San Diego region enlivening the historic University Heights community. The UHAO incorporates local businesses, theaters, and a free shuttle tour of artist studios in the area.

Events begin outside Historic Teachers Annex Building:
